Probably the best episode of the series so far. While a little out there, the whole executioner shtick had a fun, farcical quality. The Ploppy folks had an amusing provincial cheeriness to them, and I enjoy Blackadder much more as a walking collection of snappy answers to stupid questions than in his sniveling weirdo guise from last season. The Queen and her attendants are also a hoot in their own silly way. The only part of the episode I didn't particularly care for was the Lady Pharoh, who's overdramatic crying was a little too much for me, but otherwise this was funny and enjoyable.
