I can't stop rating high recently. I'm both in the middle of great Bowie albums and my wonderful Blu Ray collection. What a shame enjoying awesome thing after awesome thing. So I do think that (after watching this quickly after season 3) this is the best season of the show. There is no mediocre scene in this season. It is all great, followed by one of the best season finales of TV history.
And not just the last episode, but really the last 4 episodes are all wonderful. I chose a pic from one of my personal favorite sequences. Always a good time seeing what the bad guy does outside of the protagonist's view. Then you get a super strong set ending the season. It could have been the end of the whole show honestly. I don't wish that, the fallout is still a great watch, but it would have been perfectly fine.
So just in case you didn't get my point, watch Breaking Bad.
78 | Season 4 of Breaking Bad is the weakest season so far. But, it still has its great moments. The main plot about this season is Walt vs Gus. We could choose who we root for because we got both mindsets. Basically, they are the same. They do anything for the business and to survive from their enemies. Besides their rivalry, the plot with Don Eladio is the other strongest point in this season. Unfortunately, we only got two sequences about him. With all the conflicts that were happened resolved there's only one left for season 5. We all know that and we are waiting for that which is Hank preying Heisenberg. That is the most interesting plot in Breaking Bad.

The tension, the competing plots, the character flaws that lead to character downfalls, it’s all excellent, especially Giancarlo Esposito. Thank goodness this wasn’t the end of the show, though. Not the ending Walt deserves at all
To me, this is the pinnacle of Breaking Bad. The pure escalation of events going from Walt's helplessness to pure, out of control fear that really cements just what kind of person Walt has become, and how everyone he knows and loves is dragged into it, it's just incredible. The last three episodes are some of the the best pieces of visual media I have ever seen in my life, and if I could I would give this season 11/10.
Everyone in this season is at their A-Game, some of these episodes (Salud, Box Cutter, and the last three) are series best episodes, and to top it all off you have one of the scariest and cold and calculated villains ever in Gustavo Fring, played masterfully by Giancarlo Esposito (and as a result he got typecasted for many more roles after this lmao - not that I think he's complaining, I think he loves it!). I genuinely just, don't know what else to say about this season that I can't put into the simple phrase: it's perfect.
It makes me kinda sad knowing that I'm done with my favorite season and that some of the fifth season kinda falters, but I also do know that the second half of season 5 is on par with season 4, so I'm very excited to get back to it.
Just fucking stellar.
absolute perfection. best season of television ever. (maybe until i watch season 5 :hushed:)
The season as a whole was aight, but the last episode makes it that much better.
Jesse is a piece of shit, I thought so from the start. Jesus grow a pair.
This season much more better than the others!

Good season but it felt pretty slow until it got closer to the end. I prefer the third season over this one.
