As the council housing shortage worsens, Britain's two million private landlords have been buying up houses. Now, more than half of tenants on benefits are renting privately and as austerity cuts and changes to the benefit system bite, lettings agencies specialising in housing benefit are feeling the pressure. In Hull and Grimsby rent collection has become a game of cat and mouse. Letting agents are going to further lengths to track down tenants who have left their landlords out of pocket. In Hull, Jeremy runs Cody's Estates with his wife. They are on the trail of a tenant who has left his flat damaged. There's £1000 worth of damages, and to add insult to injury the landlord's curtains are missing. Meanwhile, in Grimsby, letting agent Harp has his faith restored when one of his tenants cleans up the mess at his property as promised, but will he come good on his rent arrears of over £3000?
