I'm so happy that Spike is back!!! This episode was very enjoyable, Spike and Willow's scene in particular.
Don't be ridiculous. I'd bite you in a heartbeat. :hugging:
"I'd bite you in a heartbeat" ahhh I've missed him!!
The (absolutely hilarious) scene with Spike and Willow made me like Spike again, and the Xander Harmony scene was likewise adorable and hilarious, but I already liked Xander and Harmony (and Willow) plenty. Lots of laughs this episode, mainly, but also key plot points revealed that will necessarily determine how things will change moving forward. Buffy is almost playing third fiddle at this point, but it's nice to get more play with the supporting set. All thumbs Buffy was kind of ad hoc, perfunctory storytelling, but it makes her more lovable and more human, and even cuter if that's possible. (I know, I'm sappy for Buffy, but she's what Mary Sues wish they could be).
The guy-alog from the paramilibros made me remember why I sometimes resented sharing a gender designation with most guys while in high school. I was peak horny and girl crazy, too, but have some sense of propriety and respect for other people and your shared position at the intellectual peak of the planetary hierarchy. Reilly's punch was really satisfying to watch. I'm getting tired of hearing about Parker in the recaps, but the bonkin's are still a nice watch.
7 burnt Sex Pistols albums out of 10
The Initiative is probably the only Buffy plotline that fell a bit flat for me. Maybe if they'd shown Riley being indoctrinated into the circle. But the scene of him entering the facility talking about who'd date a guy who does demon-hunting by night was cute, if a little too parallel.
Legacies has hinted at using an Initiative-like storyline, but it's been just that. A hint.
Love the way Oz looks at Willow
