Camp 2013

Camp was a short vacation away from traditional TV shows. At points, it felt as authentic as reality tv, peering into the lives of teenagers and adults at a camp, watching the intricate relations and the different situations build up and unfold between them. Rachel Griffiths was extraordinarily normal, as always, endearing and strong, yet vulnerable and sensitive.

This gem is one of my go-to recommendations for anyone looking for a feel-good dose of sun, skin, and shenanigans, and I wish like anything that it had continued. I've have rewatched the lone season more years than not since 2013, and every year feel the same intense sadness that others did not share my deep affection for the setting and characters.

While I know it didn't really break new ground with its storylines or production, the backdrop was gorgeous, the banter was naughty and a bit dark, and Little Otter felt like a real place I'd want to visit. And of course, Rachel Griffiths is always worth watching. If Netflix could resurrect "Wet Hot American Summer," they could do it here, too. One can hope.

Jade from Big Brother Australia (2013) was in 2 episodes so it definitely was filmed in Australia.

Really enjoy this show -- learned that it's filmed in Australia with many Australian actors. And Rachel Griffiths is Australian but doing an American accent.

Has anyone seen Beaver Falls. Camp is going to be a drawn out version of that. Did like the BBC one though
