Part-dramatised documentary detailing the pop icon's career through the 1970s, when she and older brother Richard clocked up 80 million record sales, to her untimely death from anorexia nervosa.at the age of 32. Richard's addiction to prescription sleeping pills is also explored, as is Karen's abuse of a variety of drugs including laxatives, vomit-inducing syrup and thyroid medication which she illicitly took to speed up her metabolism.
