The first time in five seasons that pressing Hulu's skip-forward button 6x actually went past the end of the theme song, which is only 30-some seconds long in this episode. Normally it's just over 60 seconds. The extra time must have been for Diane to Diane more? (Actually, it was just about the length of the tag scene with old-Sam and old-Diane dancing in their house.)
Holy hell, you know it's a big deal when Sam is the one who gets it, and has to spell things out for Diane. The execution on this was damn great, especially Sam's "thinking" scene. Bravo—first Sam+Diane episode that I honestly, truly liked.
