2 cases in one. Please see references below.

2,4-Dinitrophenol (DNP) is a chemical that is not approved for weight loss. It is a classic case of efficacy, but without safety in the setting of weight loss. This setting of weight loss can be prone to chemical misuse, further exacerbating understanding in human systems. It is not recommended as weight loss can absolutely happen without use of DNP. Christopher is one of 2 - 3 cases documented in literature to have survived an accident with DNP for weight loss. As of 2021, one organization has permission from the US FDA to investigate DNP in some neurodegenerative disorders. These are rare diseases with limited standards of care, therefore that is extenuating circumstances to find anything that could potentially improve patient outcomes.

These cases are patients who I, or my colleagues have seen. They are de-identified and many instances have been presented in more depth in an academic setting. This video is identified with approval of the patient, and he makes an appearance for interview in this video. These videos are not individual medical advice and are for general educational purposes only. I do not give medical advice over the internet, see your physician in person for that.

This may or may not have been from personal experience. Please don't make your psyllium husk fiber into jelly. Very painful

This particular kind of pre workout supplement should not be dry scooped. It is a dry powder that is formulated to be mixed with water. Powder dry like this is not designed to absorb through buccal mucosa. If it was designed to be, then it would in fact, let the pre hit harder since it wouldn't go to the liver first to be broken down, that is, bypass first-pass metabolism. If that happened, the amounts of some key ingredients would likely be lower. Instead, by doing this, you're creating a choking hazard for yourself because of a troll and haha funny laughs at the expense of your own health. You likely can damage your lungs if you cough and breathe in enough powder because you tried this.

Dextromethorphan is an over the counter cough medicine. It is for coughs. Misuse of it can cause life threatening side effects.

Burn pits are a waste management tool for armed forces overseas. However, the nature of waste today is different than half a century ago. The smoke, fumes, and particulate matter that have been observed emanating from these pits contain a heterogeneous variety of materials. Exact exposure levels are not known in veterans, however many of these materials are known to be linked to long term health effects and some have been classified and recognized as carcinogens via retrospective analysis in humans and laboratory experiments. The particulate matter produced from these burn pits can also deposit into the earth and during weather events such as dust storms, can circulate the particles to local inhabitants, potentially causing health effects for them, years later.

Recognizing these long term health effects will enable people to not make this mistake again, and to help those who have been exposed.

Renal Medullary Carcinoma is a sickle cell related kidney malignancy that is usually diagnosed in young patients (median age at diagnosis 28 years old). It is considered a rare malignancy but likely afflicts more people than prior literature suggests given that review of that literature shows patients more in line with Renal Medullary Carcinoma rather than Collecting Duct Carcinoma. 3 year overall survival of RMC is 3%. Upfront chemotherapy then surgery is the suggested treatment. Response rate to platinum based chemotherapies, gemcitabine, doxorubicin is 29%.

Peptic Ulcers need to be diagnosed by a clinician and appropriate treatment needs to be monitored. Psychiatric signs and symptoms from antibiotics are a rare reaction and should be monitored by a physician. This does not mean to avoid antibiotics, the benefit in the face of a bacterial infection generally outweighs the risk, at the discretion of the prescribing physician for the specific patient's illness. Milk Alkali Syndrome has been increasing in incidence over the last decade, despite H2 Antagonist and Proton Pump Inhibitor over-the-counter availability in the United States. This could be due to the common use of over-the-counter preparations of calcium for the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis in post-menopausal women. Calcium carbonate is also frequently prescribed to patients with chronic kidney disease for the prevention of secondary hyperparathyroidism. Milk-alkali syndrome now accounts for more than 10% of the cases of hypercalcemia and is the third most common cause o
