Full-time homemaker Jennifer has devoted her time and energy to homeschooling and caring for her three young and energetic children--but she's lost focus on cleaning and organizing her house, much to her husband Allen's dismay. He's been feeling crushed by all of her clutter and even more suffocated when she adds more junk to the pile of collectibles--so much so that he'd rather stay at work than come home. They've both been neglecting the situation to avoid any arguments, but their marriage is in jeopardy and Jennifer is praying for a cleaning miracle.
Frank is a Vietnam veteran who has suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder. His PTSD triggered his hoarding 20 years ago and it's become almost impossible for Frank to part with anything. If his family tries to get rid of some of his belongings, he'll pick it out of the trash and bring it back. Frank also loves dumpster diving and has turned his backyard into a real junk yard!
