Oh gosh. That was... that was bad.
I really don't know what to say about this episode except that I didn't laugh ONCE. Haaaaammmm gurl out!
I certainly see where they were going with the extreme low budget vibe, and it works, even on the obvious meta level, but I think that they aimed a bit too low.
this was bad, really bad, like season 4 bad.
Elroy: "So, let's crap out this piece of crap."
Abed: "That attitude concerns me."
Jeff: "It's sci-fi, it doesn't matter."
Abed: "Please don't say that. I know you don't mean that."Abed: "There are some things that we could—"
Dean: "Okay, moving on, people!"
[Everyone leaves.]
Abed: "Okay, moving on!"Man: "Okay, Randall, are you ready?"
Randall: "Yep."
6/10
I'd like to say that this was rock-bottom for this show, but we still had the giant hand and grifting episodes to look forward to. This entire season had no reason to exist. Even the writers knew it, and they had the characters continually comment on it throughout the season. The fact that this program, a network television show, ran for only six seasons w/ only three of those being full seasons, is strong evidence that a few good ideas does not a television show make. There were definitely aspects of this show that I loved, but a significant portion of it was just not good.
The intro with the „Haaaaam gurl“ stuff was really funny but the rest...not so much, really.
H aaaaaaaa aaaaaaaam Gu uuurrrrl!

This new season is so damn terrible. It's like the writers forgot how to write the characters and are desperately clinging on to what they think Community humour entails, but EVERY SINGLE joke is way off. And it makes me sad, because the previous seasons were so damn good. :(
