As expected, Refn is pretentious, repetitive and very, very slow-burn. There's nothing really surprising to be found here, the plot is ultra thin. But somehow it pulls you in with it's pure-heartedness, especially in the face of the main character Miu. A tale of hope in a bleak world. Now this probably won't be continued for a second season, rightfully so, but I'm still on par for the ride. I'm curious where this will go.
