Sean meets the team behind a scheme to train dogs not to chase wading birds, although he’s got his work cut out handling 11-week-old collie pup Stanley. He also spends time with a group of visually impaired people on a sensory walk in the woods.
Helen takes a tour of the mighty Tees barrage and sees how it’s improving the lot of wildlife at the mouth of the River Tees. Then she takes to the whitewater course nearby to be put through her paces by a crack team of Olympic kayakers.
