i cant even put into words how much i love this show and how happy it makes me
This is such a weird little show lol
Just discovered this gem, working my way through it. The first time in a long time I've been excited about a new show. It's silly and self aware and real and easy to identify with the characters. A real modern sit-com.
One of the greatest shows of all times. The songs hold up and can fit many life events, all the characters are really endearing and the sets and costumes are incredible. Its a wonderful production
I still listen to the songs from this show. It's insane how relatable they are, and the whole series to be honest. Last season made me so emotional in the best way. Perfect ending. By far one of my favorite TV shows ever
Just finished watching this show for the third time and I can't recommend it enough. Not only is the music phenomenal, but it brilliantly showcases borderline disorder, romance, and woman's issues. A must watch.
OmyGod, I think I like you. ;)
I'm watching this for the 2nd time and it is even better than the first time around. I can't put into words how much I love this show, its quirkiness, its cleverness, how it pokes fun at society. It is SO CLEVER. I definitely get that it's not everyone's cup of tea and that some people might find it off putting and weird especially the first season but it gets so good and things make so much sense after a while. And I don't know. JUST WATCH IT. Get through the first episodes of the first season. I'm serious, the second hand embarassement makes sense, it's not just for weirdness. It has a purpose. Everything in this freaking show makes sense. Also the casting is stellar and just great, ok?
I love this show <3 gonna miss it
If you're into resolutions about your previous toxic relationships and one bad ex, you're gonna love this epic adventure of a lady who has got BPD. This is not a show, this is basically the remedy for anxiety and depression. I love it so much.
its like if glee was slightly less shit
I've been a fan of Rachel Bloom's singing and writing ever since her video "F*ck me, Ray Bradbury" popped up on YouTube. Her videos have never let being "offensive" stand in the way of comedy and pokes fun at today's "PC-climate".
I came into this show worried that her writing would've been toned down to suit broadcast TV rather than cable or on-line services. Musical comedy, especially non-PC, written by a YouTube star might not translate to the TV screen and isn't exactly mainstream to begin with.
Halfway through the first episode all my doubts had vanished. It's funny, clever, satirical and different. It's less like "The Big Bang Theory" and more like "South Park".
More than anything else, this show was about taking responsibility for your actions while still showing compassion for yourself and your journey. It was a hilarious show with great, great songs but as a show that dealt very thoroughly with the complications that come with a serious mental disorder, it ended in a beautiful way. And Rebecca should marry Nathaniel. At a time when she can truly be happy with him.
A messy show that nonetheless is more than the sum of its parts with its raw honesty, charming cast, and delightful musical numbers.
started off really well but the towards the end it just dragged on with the same old story line, glad it's over.
I loved this show so much

Never into musicals but I am liking this show. It is fun and different and makes me laugh. The singing is entertaining and sounds good. I hope the ratings increase so that they will keep making it. Probably one the few shows I look forward to anymore.
