LONG and FUNG are loves. FUNG's father SIN is a temple-keeper and he also tricks other villagers' money. As the villagers give him a forged gold flower, SIN is angry. He poisons the fishes in the pond. FUNG begs LONG to keep the secret for her. SIN does not thank her; instead he blames LONG having made the God angry. FUNG decides to disclose the truth. The villagers trounce SIN. SIN is discontented. FUNG elopes with LONG. They are robbed by WAI. In order to protect FUNG, LONG is killed by WAI. FUNG is in deep grief. The ghost guard discovers that he has made a mistake. LONG should stay on earth. To compensate, he steals the magic pill from the fox and gives it to LONG.
