Bandmates Jane, Scott and Vaughn stumble upon a mysterious amulet that enables them to see ghosts, all of whom want their help. First up, the trio grapples with the inescapable duties that come with their newfound power as a record company rep tries to sweet-talk Vaughn into going solo, exacerbating tensions between band members.
Once New York City's deceased community learns that the band possesses the amulet, a Big Apple visit to play a famous club is complicated by an inescapable mob of ghosts looking for the trio's help. Also, Scotty helps a dead man track down a potentially incendiary videotape, while the tortured soul who mugged Dennis years before seeks his forgiveness.
En route from Detroit to a gig in San Francisco, Scotty encounters a ghost who claims that the airplane they are on will crash---unless something is done to override faulty equipment. Meanwhile, in California, Jane and Vaughn dig up a deceased girl's body so she can be buried with her boyfriend.
After the Problem crashes an exclusive party for foreign dignitaries, the murdered Prince Torben of Mulravia calls upon Scotty and Jane to complete his diplomatic duties, which turn out to be less than noble. Vaughn's libido, meanwhile, leads him to get involved with a woman who may be an assassin.

When Dennis' acute appendicitis is misdiagnosed, Scotty and Jane save his life by performing an emergency appendectomy with the help of a ghost doctor. Meanwhile, Vaughn is stuck with ghost duty when he finds that the hospital is jam-packed full of ghosts who need his help.
Lost on a Texas backroad, Vaughn, Jane and Scotty stumble onto a mystery when their van gets stuck in a swamp and they meet the lonely ghost of teenager. They decide to investigate when the apparition tells them he was murdered by the local Sheriff, but the truth turns out to be more evil than anyone had imagined.
While helping a ghost named Martin find his rancid corpse in his house, Jane and Scotty get arrested for murder. To get them out of jail, Martin and Vaughn have to find the real killer. The Problem are shocked when they receive an invitation from the famous music producer, J.L. Crawford, to stay at his home and discuss recording possibilities. Of course things aren't what they seem because all Crawford wants from them is their ghost-talking power to exorcise a very annoying dead rocker from his home.
While performing in a music festival in Columbus, Ohio, the trio must elude a crazy professor and his assistant, who want the amulet and will kill to get it. As Vaughn's rival, Vance and his bandmates soon find out after a case of mistaken identity. Meanwhile, Scotty tries to keep his sanity while dealing with a nitpicky bellhop who's now a ghost.
