I sure hope this isn't supposed to be based on modern laws/politics,because if it is it was written by withered supremely ignorant of the functionally retarded. Absolutely 0% of the political talking points in this episode were factual.
I'm hoping someone does an abridged version of this series because if you just cut out all of the Kirkman and Lady Kirkman it would be a great show.
I wasn't that engrossed by the voting side of things; what we really want to see is progress on the bombing investigation - but - it is important to show too that the President does have to get on with the busines of running the country; despite the self intrest of others - something that hsn't changed since the bombing. All is how it was and how it is likely to always be in that respect
The interesting bombing investigation makes some more progress even though it's a slow process, thanks to a time-sucking White House and Capitol Hill main plot that was once again beyond boring. Thriller and mystery fans like me can't be happy with the latter and policy wonk fans can't be happy with the former. It's yet another reminder that when a show tries to please too many audiences, it ends up pleasing none of them. I think I may be at the point where I start fast-forwarding through anything that doesn't have to do with Agent Wells.

we are watching house cards for politics, it's the most realistic politics show ever. When Designated survivor makes politics it looks like a dream of 5 year old. So stupidly annoying and boring. I'm sure it will be cancelled. And how can someone watching house of cards can create this much stupid scenario. Didn't watch house of cards? then that's even more stupid.
