DJ Danny's crush on gorgeous model Debbie leads him to the fashion show where Debbie and Chloe are strutting their stuff down the catwalk. Danny's desire for Debbie results in him making a huge, romantic gesture to prove his love for her - but will it win her heart or will he be humiliated? A glittering night on the tiles arrives for everyone as entrepreneur George hosts the launch party for his exclusive new members club. The unfinished business between Joe and Elissa is evident after her tearful revelation at the awards do, but can they avoid another confrontation? Christmas is coming in Liverpool and the scouse guys and girls are gearing up for the festive season. The halls are decked with decorations fit for the glitz and glamour of a Scousewives Christmas. And of course there's plenty of shopping to be done. Elder of the O'Toole sisters Gill is about to turn 30. She plans to celebrate in style with a huge party, but before the girls hit the town to dance the night away, the men in Gill's life have a surprise for her. Meanwhile, Danny struggles with the embarrassment of his public romantic failure after he tried to woo Debbie with song. And Joe finally convinces Elissa to meet up with him for dinner. But just as it looks like they could be moving on from the past, Elissa heads off to Gill's party leaving Layla perfectly placed to pick up the pieces.
It's Christmas but the festive cheer is flagging for Chris and Mark, who can't agree on whether to have a baby. A near-miss disaster with a haircut for Gill doesn't help matters. Layla is determined to find out whether Elissa and Joe are back together, and her search for the truth leads her into an unexpected new friendship. Sean and his footballer friends try to spread some festive fun at their Christmas party, but not everyone has something to celebrate, least of all Danny. Never one to miss an opportunity, Jodie places herself under the mistletoe.
Christmas isn't getting any better for Mark and Chris until Chris makes one huge gesture. But is it too late? Joe's boss has instructed him to fire Danny after he threatens a customer, but Joe is preoccupied with his attempts to make things right with Elissa.
