Kogoro reveals that he tutored in his youth, and resolves to meet up with one of his students. However, when they go see her, her car suddenly explodes as her sister drives it out of the driveway. Kogoro is determined to solve the case and find the murderer as soon as possible.

With some prodding by Conan, Kogoro surprisingly finds the truth of the case himself. He confronts the criminal, and with some help from Conan, he overcomes his ideals and gets to the heart of the matter.

In an attempt to find a man and fix her love life, Sonoko goes to the beach with Ran and Conan

After talking with Tadahiko, Sonoko falls asleep in the car, and someone puts it in drive.

Kogoro, Ran, and Conan pay a visit to an old woman. She decides to take them to her grandson, but he's found dead when they get into the house. The bathroom door is locked however. How could this have happened?

Kogoro, Ran, and Conan are visitors at the 5 story pagoda. After running into the manager, they are invited out to dinner as guest of the temple on him, thanks to the Great Kogoro. The morning after hearing the legend of 5 story pagoda, the manager (who was planning on turning it into a tourist attraction) turns up dead, hanging from the top floor, in a fashion mimicking the legend.

More evidence presents itself as Conan notices there are burn marks on the rope used to hang him, and also a slip knot tied. In addition, there was not enough length in the rope meaning, he would have needed to jump into the noose to commit suicide. Right before the police detective was going to call it a suicide case, Conan stuns Kogoro and reveals the method in which the murder was committed, followed by the key piece of evidence to prove who the murderer was.

Kogoro, Ran, and Conan are at a fancy traditional Japanese restaurant where food is delivered on a small computer controlled boat that navigates over a running stream around the restaurant. Later, a murder occurs and Conan realizes the only way it could have been possible was for a person to be alone, and to use the stream to access the room.

Agasa wins a trip to a beach resort and gives the tickets to Kogoro, Ran, and the Detective Boys. On the plane, Ran falls asleep and dreams about a murder that occurred on an Airliner.

Agasa takes the Detective Boys to his uncles house which has been abandoned fifty years ago for a treasure hunt he had set up.

Conan matches the symbols to the Hiragana table and reveals that the symbols in the objects direct to other objects in the room.

The Detective Boys are in a puppeteer camping trip, where they are practicing for a school puppet play. At the same time, a serial killer has been spotted near the areas of the camp. While at the camp, the students disappear with their puppets, leaving the Detective Boys alone.

Hattori Heiji, bringing along Kazuha, is hired by the rich Takeda family to investigate a series of suspicious suicides that has plagued their mansion in Tottori Prefecture.

Conan and Heiji investigate further into the ghastly death of Nobukazu as well as the suicides of Misa, Kinuyo, and Negishi.

Conan tranquilizes Kogoro and cooperates with Heiji to shed light on the case.

Conan detects a change in Ran’s behavior and speculates that she may have something going on. Kogoro, on the other hand, takes them to his doctor Yoshiteru Araide’s house for a checkup.

Conan establishes that Yoshiteru was murdered and finds several clues missed by the police including a broken piece of a vase.

Ran, Sonoko, and Conan are at the Tropical Land ice rink where they meet a group of people: Yasuharu Misawa, Izumi Sano, Yoriko Komatsu, Chihiro Itami, and Kunitomo Oda. Chihiro goes to the women's bathroom where she is being followed by a cloaked figure.

Bloody marks are discovered at and near the crime scene. Conan puts Kogoro to sleep to reveal that the culprit.

Saizo Kano, known as the Organizer of Shadows, is shot to death by his subordinates, Sadao Kujirai, Korehisa Kanie, and Teruyoshi Kameda. In the present day, while celebrating their last heist on a luxury cruise ship, Kano’s crew is picked off one by one by a mysterious killer. The stakes are raised when Heiji is thrown into the Pacific Ocean while investigating and a bomb is discovered to be hidden on the ship. Is there something more sinister afloat, or has Kano returned from the dead to enact his vengeance 20 years later?

On the way home from school, Conan and Haibara find Gin's Porsche 356 on the street and places a covert listening device in it. Conan hears that a Black Organization member codenamed Pisco is ordered to assassinate someone at a party hosted at Haido Hotel.

Conan investigates and reveals to Haibara that the purple handkerchief will narrow down the suspects.

Haibara climbs to the top of the chimney only to be confronted by Gin and Vodka.

Kogoro is invited by Yoshinori Kana to his home to investigate an unknown stalker harassing his wife, Misaki, who leaves mysterious gifts and letters.

The case is solved, the mysterious man was figured out to be a statue hanged by a fishing rod.

One day, The Detective Boys were bored so they picked up receipts in a convenience store to guess what the people are buying for dinner. George picks up a weird receipt with food items, a dust bin, a container, a handler light, rechargeable batteries, thin lytax gloves, and chlorine.

Kogorou, Ran, and Conan are invited by the hostess of a car accident charity named Shou Beniko. While driving, they find a message from the Phantom of the Cursed Masks who tells them they should not go.

Kogoro is invited to a house as to impress the client's mother who is a finance trader, simply a loaner. Later, loaner is murdered and with the clues, the suspects are her son, daughter, or maid.

Ran's strange behavior causes Conan to suspect that she knows his identity as Jimmy. Later on, the Detective Boys are taken by Agasa on a camping trip.

The Detective Boys realize that the riddle is a reference to shogi and that the dragon refers to a promoted rook. They take the direction a rook is placed on the shogi board and escape the cave.

Vi reveals the gun was a fake and reminds Conan the threat that the Black Organization poses.

The police are unable to find the source of the poison from the drinks. As they are able to rule the death as a suicide, the black knight declares it was a murder and reveals his identity.

Shinichi takes Ran to a fancy restaurant in order to confess his love.

After checking the company's mascot, Shinichi confirms Satoru to be the murderer, thus locking the two in a game of cat and mouse.

A girl named Yuuki Haruna asks Kogoro Mouri to search for a man named Shuugo whom she texts with on her pager.

Conan investigates and realizes how the pranks were done and who is attempting to scare Haruna away.

Mouri, Ran, and Conan are staying at a hotel where they meet the twins from the case of the cursed mask. Later, an actress comes and causes trouble. The next day, she is found hanged in her room.

Conan notices that this is not a suicide but a murder. He later proves that the culprit hang-glided to the hotel and went back by stowing in the trunk of a car.

A serial arsonist sets huge fires across the city and Takagi and Miwako with the Detective Boys are out to solve it.

After Ai reveals the pattern of the arsonist attack, Ayumi, Genta, and Mitsuhiko run into the arsonist who attempts to kill them.

Kogoro, Ran, and Conan came as the substitutes for Serena and her father, the Suzuki president, and decided to attend a tea meeting at the Aonogi house. At the backyard of the mansion, there was a pond that shined in five colors. And there was a bridge which led to the tea room. While they were enjoying the pond’s colors something unusual happened… The headmaster died in the tea room, the same way as the legend.

Conan searches for clues to who murdered the Headmaster busily and finally figures out the trick that was used.

The Detective Boys decided to go mushroom picking in the mountains. And during it, Genta got lost in the hunting area.

Ai deduces that if they reveal themselves, the hunter trying to get rid of them will shoot them and say that he thought they were bears. So Ai and Mitsuhiko leave a clue for Conan in the form of different types of mushrooms that tells him who the killer is.

While Kogoro, Ran, and Conan are driving near the ocean, their car breaks down, prompting them to ask for help at a house which belongs to famous lawyer Kensuke Tachibana. There, they meet secretary Yuuichi Sakuraba, his caretaker Yaeko Kamei, his wife Yuki Tachibana, his office's accountant Noriko Sugimura, and lawyer Fumio Fujisawa. As the day progresses, Kensuke explains to Kogoro that he’s been receiving threatening letters from someone with the initials “T.K.”

Conan believes that Kumada was met with foul play. Conan puts Kogoro to sleep, deducing that the killer drugged Kensuke while he was out with Kumada.

The police inform Kogoro about a serial offender attacking women wearing ganguro makeup. According to the victims’ testimony, their attacker stood at 150 centimeters tall. Kogoro mentions a similar case 20 years ago where female high school students were run over, shocking Megure.

Megure reveals a case in the past which is why he was so anxious.
