International fraud and contribution to global
environmental harm intentionally and secretively was only to be seen in movies. IRL this is Hitler level evil. plz boycott this company forever. They don't deserve a second chance. Everyone involved should be punished by law to set a strict example
Volkswagen deserved everything coming to them but throwing a bridge back to Hitler and the Nazis is thin. Nevertheless the people responsible within the company got away too easy. They should've been thrown in prison for life and all their financial assets seized because this was intentional with massive criminal energy involved. But especially in Europe they practically faced no consequences. In the US they threw some people under the bus so that the company as a whole and the big fish weren't harmed.
VW is still on top of the world, which means, enough people are still buying regardless of what happened. That's humanity for you. And with all governments always looking out for corporations first, nothing will change. The price will be paid at a later time. But it will be paid !
