With scientists predicting three to five major natural disasters each year, 'Could It Happen Here?' looks six different cities around the world and analyses if each city is prepared for disaster to strike. Viewers will witness the blueprints for disaster - from dangerous population growth to the impact of global warming and public and political complacency. Viewers will also meet the new breed of hazard scientists whose job it is to ask 'Could It Happen Here?'
