The Yarmouth Castle embarked on an overnight trip from Miami to the Bahamas every weekend until November 1965 when this mdnight cruise to paradise became a floating inferno that left 87 passengers dead. When a small storeroom fire went undetected, it let to one of the deadliest American shipwrecks since the 1930's. The fire was finally disocvered, but it was too late.
