Sandhya learns that their neighbourhood experiences frequent load-shedding. An officer refuses to cooperate with the Rathi family. Sandhya calls the officer, and asks him to solve the load-shedding issue. The Rathi family welcomes Sandhya. Sandhya becomes elated on seeing her family. She finds Emily's parlour sealed. Sandhya assures Santosh that she will not be leaving Pushkar. Bhabasa informs Sandhya that Emily's parlour was raided by government officials.
