A man is attacked and injured at home, in full view of his wife. While the police investigate the case, another family reports the disappearance of their son Bruno. The case seems to be resolved when it is discovered that Camilla has been hiding a runaway boy in the rectory for some time. But the case instead gets complicated: the child Camilla found is not Bruno and moreover he refuses for fear of revealing his identity. Where is he from? What is he running from? What is the connection between the two cases?
