I like the perspective of the dog view, and how something seen as small or insignificant for us humans is seen as shocking and world changing for a dog. The way that this is potrayed has it funny and sometimes a little emotional moments (as a dog owner, seeing a dog being left alone all day and being sad can be heartbreaking).
But, the downside (for me) is that the show is almost childish in it's story telling. The way that the dog's owner "Nan" lives and makes choices in this happy world where nothing goes wrong and the worst thing that can happen is a broken toe-nail is just cringy for me.
For example: Episode 3: Nan brings her dog to work because her childish boss is afraid of dogs. He has been attacked/mauled by a dog at a young age. And all that Martin (our dog) does is lay his head on his leg and look at him sad, and suddenly the guy that has had a childhood trauma and fear for dogs is no longer afraid of them. Right...
So to summarize, funny at moments, but a bit too childish in storytelling. (but maybe i've seen too much drama shows to accept the happy world that this show portrays)
