The Mufeng Butterfly helps Fengjiu to clean up, which angers Zhi He. Zhi He banishes it to the mortal realm as a punishment and sends Fengjiu to repent in the Imperial Kitchen. Fengjiu uses the sorrowless flower in the Palace to make a sorrowless pastry, and falls asleep after eating one. When she wakes up, she realizes Dong Hua is setting a banquet in Tai Chen Palace. Fengjiu delivers the food to the banquet, but has to replace the food with her sorrowless pastry after falling down. But when she is about to meet Dong Hua, she's once again stopped by Zhi He.
Fengjiu is cooking the sweet and sour fish for Zhi He. Dong Hua smells it and comes to the Kitchen. Fengjiu is excited to see Dong Hua, but Dong Hua is only interested in the recipe of the sweet and sour fish. Fengjiu confesses that the smell is from the Yushi Flower. Dong Hua seems to be satisfied with Fengjiu's answers, but that only makes Zhi He jealous. Dong Hua has no intention to fight with Yan Chiwu, who is here to compete to become the husband of Ji Heng. So he rejects Yan Chiwu, saying he has no time to fight. Yan Chiwu then decides to help him finish all the things so that Dong Hua has to accept his challenge.
Yan Chiwu seeks for help from Demon King Chuyin. Chuyin decides to use Yan Chiwu to take the soul-locking jade away. While fighting with Yan Chiwu, Dong Hua's Changhe Sword touches the soul-locking jade. It locks Dong Hua into the Ten-evil Lotus Land. At the same time, Ji Heng arrives and and falls into Ten-evil Lotus Land as well. Fengjiu arrives to help. As Chuyin can see her real identity, he takes her fur away, and sends her to the Lotus Land too. Fengjiu has no idea that she has become just a small fox without the ability to talk. Xu Yang gets to know that Yan Chiwu went to challenge Dong Hua, and that Ji Heng went to stop the battle. He decides to send Min Su to repent in Baishui Mountain. Min Su wants to resists, but when he knows that this is an order from Xu Yang, he gives up and leaves.
Meng Hao tries to rescue Ji Heng and Min Su, but sacrifices instead. Before his death, he begs Dong Hua to take care of Ji Heng forever. Dong Hua decides to accept the offer, and plans to marry her after three months. Dong Hua takes care of the wound of little fox Fengjiu, and even gives her a piece of jade. Fengjiu's love for Dong Hua deepens. But one day, she overhears Dong Hua telling Zhi He that she's just a pet to him. Fengjiu is deeply hurt by his wores.
Fengjiu gets to know that Dong Hua is making a short knife. She draws a design of it, hoping to gain attention from Dong Hua again. However, Dong Hua mistakes it as a drawing from Ji Heng. Fengjiu runs away sadly. Fengjiu soon realizes that Dong Hua is not only nice to her. She decides to give up, and leaves Dong Hua without saying farewell.
Cheng Yu is angry for Fengjiu. Si Ming has no choice but to tell her that Emperor Dong Hua and Fengjiu are not meant to be. On the other hand, Fengjiu returns back to Shili Peach Forest. God Zhe Yan treats her wounds. Yan Chiwu plans to rob the wedding. Meanwhile Zhi He is wearing the wedding gown instead, as she finds out that Ji Heng and Min Su are about to runaway.
Dong Hua is searching for the disappeared little fox. He sees Fengjiu through the mirror, but cannot recognize that she's the fox that he's looking for. Time passes by, destiny doesn't bring the two back together. Ji Heng and Min Su are caught by Xu Yang. In order to set Ji Heng free, Min Su commits suicide, and confesses to Xu Yang that she's in fact a female. Ji Heng refuses to return home so she jumps off the cliff with Min Su's body in her embrace. Xu Yang recalls the memories of him spending time with Min Su, realizes his true feelings for her.
