This was really good. Ever since "Life on Mars" I'm somewhat of a fan of John Simm and that's why I watch stuff he's in. And he was once again very good. So was Broadbent who was very convincing. Although the two main parts of the story, how you deal with a parent that has Alzheimer, and the political scandal, don't seem to mix well they work. And both are getting enough room. Another thing I like about british productions is that, in comparison to US, they don't look as shiny. Not everyone looks like a model and wears expensive clothes. Which always gives me the impression of more realisim.
