Personally I didn’t enjoy S1-3 at all. Poor acting, really bad script and a lot of unused potential made me almost quit. Season 4 on the otherhand is good. Yes it’s slow paced but I think that’s what this show needed in order to survive. Acting is brilliant compared to before. Finally most of the original cast has gone, the new cast really is to my liking. Storytelling is good as well, a few hiccups here and there but still way better overall. The plot twist at the end is alright for me since TWD is making a jump about 2 years ahead so FTWD and TWD won’t merge anyways. So there isn’t really a necessity to go to Alexandria. Personally it’s the first season FRWD I enjoyed.
What a boring crap.
Sadly I watched it :/
Damn that season sucks so hard. So many scenes with absolutely no content. Just some character walking / staring / sitting and not even saying a word. It is just so damn boring to watch that I believe even the actors would have liked to do something more interesting than shooting this crap.
I only keep watching it because I liked it til this season and hope it gets better.
Nowhere near as strong as seasons 2 & 3 were. I think the season started really great in 4A with the narrative and introducing interesting new characters, but took a HUGE dip in quality in 4B. Giving us 3 bottled episodes of focusing on just one group of characters at a time, a massive mistake. All were boring (apart from Alicia's for me which actually built on her character). And then we had a terrible villain that walks around chanting 'I'll make you strong' until you ears bleed. I'll stick with the show for season 5 but i hope they step it up again, the weakest season for me so far.
6/10
Morgan ruined the show. Most boring season in tv history.it had a huge potential after the end of season 3 but the producers choose to transform this show in a shit replica of twd.
The first half of the season was amazing for me, and easily the best Fear the Walking Dead has ever been. I loved the way Morgan was introduced to the show, John Dorie easily becomes one of the best characters in the TWD universe and it was just exciting, I think it was a good idea to give the show this "soft reboot" and time jump to do new things, because I really wasn't that into Season 2 or Season 3. And I thought the flashback/present structure and the colour tones were a really nice touch.
The second half of the season, unfortunately, just never gets as good as that. It wasn't THAT bad either but it's extremely frustrating, even by the standards we should be used to with TWD/FTWD. The moment it was shown that they would be separated you could just tell it wouldn't be super entertaining. I get what they're trying to do with the theme of "helping people" and it's good, but it becomes really tiring when every single episode is about the same. I thought the penultimate episode was awesome, but the season finale itself was underwhelming by comparison.
I love all the new characters though and maybe that's the reason why I feel so positive about the show right now. Dorie is great, June and Charlie grew on me, Sarah and Wendell's antics and Negan-like way of talking are fun to watch. Even Jimbo, the beer man, was a lot of fun even if he didn't get to do that much. The only bad character was that crazy woman of the last couple of episodes, which is sad, because without her the season could have ended on a better and less frustrating note. I get that they're going for a "if crazy Morgan could change, she can too", but there was nothing compelling about that character and the way she was left to turn, only for them to return...... to kill her as a walker.... and to BURY her..... just made me feel silly.
(Also, I read that people were disappointed when they suddenly didn't go to Virginia. I guess there's an "advantage" in being up to date with TWD as of watching this, knowing Morgan never went back? Helps manage expectations - though I didn't really want him to go back)
Overall, I'm happy and looking forward to season 5.
After skipping thru several episodes to avoid the back stories, the show really starts to pick up. I like it.
Weak season finale. Weak resolution. I'm having such mixed feelings. They build up all season around going to Alexandria then decide to do the exact opposite 2 minutes before the finale. WHY?! It sucked when Madison and Nick was killed off the show but i loved how the new characters gave the show a different feel.
I'm speaking to you from the end of Season 6. Y'all can stop watching this show at episode 8, No One's Gone. It's all downhill from there. For some nutty reason, I feel compelled to finish it out, but I'm really just hate watching it now. All the good writers left with Frank Dillane.
The fourth season of Fear of the Walking Dead is a wrong version of apocalyptic shows. Characters are half-made, and the dialogues are super cringe as well. WTF people? Could you make a standard average apocalyptic survival story? Nobody asked for keen commitment and the best version of survival storylines. Just do your job average, and it is okay.

I won't forgive the showrunners for kill all my favourite characters (Nick, Travis & Madison) even though she returned in the latest season
J'ai préféré la saison 1, 2 et 3.
Dans la saison 4, je suis content de retrouver le personnage de Morgan mais on perd plusieurs personnages du début que j'aimais bien comme Madison, Nick
worst season in television history. uninspiring, boring, forced and rushed.
1/10

I liked this season even more than season 3. The past/present storytelling in the first part of the season was done well. The story throughout the season was again unique from TWD. The season didn't languish on a single problem like TWD or even previous seasons of this show. And the character development and time spent on everyone was the absolute best part of the season -- it helps they had a great cast with good acting skills. I'd love more seasons, but if they stopped here I'd say it was a good end.
