This is a documentary of my 4x4 career between 1972 and 2004. Made in 2005.
In 1987 I took an ill-fated expedition into Botswana during which I had an accident which smashed the front of my vehicle. Shot on early VHS video tape, the quality is poor, but the trip entertaining.
My record for getting stuck in one day is seven. This expedition to explore the Magkadikgadi Pans in Botswana involves a Range Rover and my own Defender One-Ten. Really enjoyable video.
My first visit to the desert mountains known as the Richtersveld was in 1993, while I was researching my second 4x4 book. A convoy of three Land Rover Defenders brave the terrain. A memorable trip.
