I’ve downgraded the vote from 10 to 9 because the last season was awful!

Anyone who down play this show is mental. The show was epic. Start to finish. Standing ovations to everyone who lived and died. It left me wanting more but content with what I GOT.

I had to downgrade the rating form 10 -> 9 all is because of Season 8, this is how you almost ruin the best show in the world...!

can't believe it's over

Game of Thrones is a great show, it comes from an amazing book series and while I don't agree with many of the differences between the two the show is still great. There are parts that will infuriate you, both due to nonsensical writing and due to purposeful story situations but it tells a really compelling story. There are a ton of characters so you will easily find a few that you'll love no matter who you are. The action is fairly well done, the fantasy aspects are kept in control, and the thematic presence of the show is fantastic if you are into that. The acting ranges from very, very weak to very strong. The set and costume design is gorgeous and really takes you to another world. The directing is hit and miss but definitely hits more than it misses. if you like Fantasy, politics, or just shows in general that get you to speculate a lot then GOT is a good choice. I do think it is overrated but it is still great.

Just watched the last episode. I love this series. I might rewatch it in a few years, or maybe in a year. Although, many episodes will make me relive the shock, pain, and agony that we all experienced. It would be still worth it, in my opinion. I would have wanted, though, to have seen more characters that were in the books, characters so cool and badass like Big Bucket Wull and to hear his great speech "My last winter.", ad other great speeches that were not included.
But, I am still gratefull for this series.

And here it is: the end of the biggest television show of all time.

Seasons 1-4 are (close to) perfect.
Seasons 5-6 are where some of the cracks start to appear, with some filler episodes that don't build a lot of character. However, they're still great seasons nonetheless.
Seasons 7-8 are good, not great. They have certain pacing (rushed developments, teleportation of characters) and writing issues (plot armour, unsatisfying & unearned conclusions etc.). It is especially the level of production that elevates these seasons above average television.

Am I also unsatisfied with how they handled certain characters at the very end? Absolutely.
Do I think, however, that they mostly stuck the landing? Yes.

S1: 9.5/10; S2: 9/10; S3: 9.5/10; S4: 10/10; S5: 8/10; S6: 8/10; S7: 7/10; S8: 7/10

Great Show but the last season broke the show, that why i changed my vote from 9 to 6. All nice little hints and stories became broke in the season so this show was a real disappointment for me.

I can’t believe that it will be the last time I will Watch GOT in my entire life. I hope the next TV shows will become like this magic

The most interesting thing about GOT is any character got a surprise death. You just sit there and cheer up for your favorite character. Now, bum, he/she is dead. Red Wedding still give me goosebumps

At least this and last episode had some breathing room. The breakneck pace of the first three, while thrilling and beautifully executed, has really exhausted me. Rewatching this, I can see that the binge is not the best way to watch this show! Maybe one a day, or every couple of days.

Staring through the window at the weather outside is more exciting than watching this slow moving fantasy play but I wish everyone fun with their dragons, dwarfs and other stuff from this show. ps. When did winter come? Was it season 6 or so? gj.

Many episodes are really boring, especially in the early seasons.Some other are really good but they are not so musch, however is highly overrated

Yeah, agree it is the best show ever, effects, acting, scenery etc, fantastic. Watching it for the second time before season eight arrives and seeing and learning more than first time round, but.......I just hope it is not just going to end up as another bloody zombie, (white walkers), show, hate them.......Season six episode 5 shows intent.......
I really hope there is a bit more depth and interest than killing zombies.........

Games of Thrones season 7 was the best ever, all the annoying people are gone and we can concentrate on the best one. A good series, intrigues takes time but not betrayals ! Well can't wait to see the rest !

One of the best series I've ever seen in my life !!! Everything perfect, it holds from start to finish, who never watched I do not consider a series lover. Each episode is like it was a movie so well produced that it is !!!

I know they're different genres, but I think Breaking Bad is superior to Game of Thrones. I love GOT, but they screwed up season five. Only dialogue, nothing happening.

Lost my interest pretty fast.. Stopped at season 3. Couldn't make myself watch it further than that.

It would honestly be a regret if I haven't still watched Game of Thrones by now. Gladly I did, and it's marvelous! ✌

I'm on book 2 almost done. if you love the show and love reading, i strongly advise you to get the books to. because you will find yourself going back to watch the show again. the cast is brilliant. the characters that you hate, just know that's how great of an acting job they do.

Is one of the most brilliant shows of television. Somethings could had been left out, but all in all, it is a show to exercise your mind, and wishing they for more history behind each kingdom. Plus some of the most beautiful scenery you'll ever see. Great show for mythical lovers

I really don't understand why this is so popular. It's boring, horribly slow, the story repeats itself again and again, terrible acting.... Why? Oh I really tryed watching it, thinking "it must be me; it must be good; do your best; make an effort", but I after season 1 I still couldn't find anything that entertained me, not even a bit. It just annoyed me. So just keep the hype going without me!

Season 1 was interesting, season 2 was awful, season 3 was not really bad at all. If I would have watched season 2 before season 3, I would have stopped around episode 4 and never watched this show again. Thank the writers for Khaleesi, she's the only reason I continue to watch at this point.

So many plot holes, such horrible writing, boring drama, action is only near the end of each episode as to manufacture a cliff hanger. And the biggest issue I have is the complete ignorance to time. How long does it take to walk, compared to riding, etc? I have 3 seasons of Gotham coming up next, but getting through the next 3 seasons of GOT my be impossible.

I would not recommend this show.

I have seen season 1,2 and 3. But I can't get myself to continue. The series is beautifully made, it really is. But I just can't seem to get into the story.

This show is awesome but a little too strong.

I can tell you that Game of Thrones is phenomenal, staggering, surprising, beautiful, emotional, action-packed and thrilling rollercoaster. Prior to watching the shows I read all the books published till that time. Books>show. However, the show is superb, as the characters are so dramatic and complicated that we may love some but we love to hate some (e.a. Cersei). HUGE plot twists and turns that make the show so amazing. Literally, it is a game for the throne. More families that you can count t fight over the land of Westeros for ascending that throne. Save for the northern families, that desire their own homes and families. Furthermore, the plot doesn't end there. In the far north. a legendary military order, the Night's Watch is dedicated to defending the kingdoms from threats north of the Wall, a sctructure 700ft high. Watch it and you will be rewarded.

10/10, and Winter is Coming.

I just don't know why I haven't got one favourite tv show... but when I think in depth about it, GoT seems to be the right one... don't know yet tho

Keeps definitely keeps me interested. It's getting better every season. But to me - it's not genuine fantasy - it lacks heart. I know this is may sound controversial. But many seasoned fantasy-fans agree.

Stop comparing the show to the books; enjoy them in their respective mediums. Whichever medium you chose to indulge first, you won't be disappointed if you are a fan of a good storytelling. However, you need to be able to enjoy a long and drawn out story. If you are in it for the instant gratification of sex or violence, it will feel like the Viagra you took suddenly stopped working when you needed it the most!
