It’s about wrestling siblings one is a heel on tv named Jack Spade (Stephen Amell) and other is the face, named Ace Spade (Alexander Ludwig). In real life though Jack is the better man and Ace is a real jerk. Who some how thinks he is a good man.
You can tell the Wild Bill character is inspired by Michael PS Hayes.
Great cast, I'm missing anything making this show unique though.
Maybe you need to be a wrestling fan to apreciate it fully, to me it feels like a run off the mill drama where the protagonists are wrestlers/wrestler-adjacent instead of the standard buisness-men/women, lawyer and politician mix.
So cool so far thats a cool new show :)
Felt like the testosterone response from Starz to a delay of season 2 of P-Valley. Great visuals, that deep South hopeless atmosphere and the "do what it takes to survive" spirit. However, the characters might not be all that compelling, but the rivarly and the dynamics between Amell and Ludwig is promising. Showing all the showmanship behind this business was also interesting. We'll see if it can deliver throughout the whole season.
What a tag team that could be right? Björn Ironside and the Green Arrow!
