Figuring that the fault stems from the A department, he threatens Busby and Robert with their jobs unless they land him a great act that can drum up even greater press for him. Thanks to a hot tip from Neil the bartender, the scrambling boys sign a new female act, Vanessa. Unfortunately, all Vanessa can do is act -- she can't sing a note, which brings plenty of bad publicity.
