5.5/10. Pretty dull stuff all around. Barney and Ted measuring "points" as to who was winning the game of life is pretty crass, even with the reveal that the competition, and Barney's quest to make every night legendary, was just him coping with the fact that his girlfriend is a stripper. It's too little too late, and though anchoring the story in Ted and Barney's legitimate friendship is a nice coda, it doesn't make for the tepid comedy or less-than-stellar camaraderie between them before that point.
Marshall freaking out over Lily having a sex dream with Ranjit is just kind of weird, and is another instance where the characters (well, really only Marshall) seems unreasonable and pretty unlikable. There's the germ of something good with the idea that Lily's attracted to good father's and that's the subconscious pull, but for the most part it's just kind of crass and odd.
And Robin wanting to be famous, and dealing with a jerk in the process, is another bit of semi-mean spiritedness from the characters that feels out of place. Her landing a helicopter as something that brings them all together is kind of nice, but feels pretty undercooked at the end of the day.
Overall, a fairly tepid follow up to the prior, superlative episode.
