Episode two sees Derval O’Rourke’s Mileys from Kildare up against Donncha O’Callaghan’s Allens from Tipperary, Anna Geary’s O’Neills from Meath and Davy Fitzgerald’s Codys from Kilkenny.
Episode 3 sees the 3rd of 4 heats tonight in the FOREST with the Doyles from Derry, the McDonagh’s from Mayo, the Donnellys from Longford and the Cullens from Wexford go head to head for 2 places in the quarter-finals.
The fourth and final heat sees four fit families - the Brackens from Meath, the Kellys from Antrim, the Clare and the Kulczynskis also from Clare - face the bog bath, wherein they must cling upside-down to a log above mud for the longest total time; and that's just to start.
Episode 5 of series 8 is the first of the quarter finals where we have moved out of the FOREST and into the next phase of the competition - THE LAKE.
