Isle of Man TT (Isle of Man Tourist
Trophy, Tourist Trophy) - motorcycle races that take place annually
on the Isle of Man in the Irish Sea for many years considered the
most prestigious motorcycle races in the world. Isle of Man TT was
one of the stages of the World Championship ring-road motorcycle
races from 1949 to 1976. Because of the extreme danger of the route
after the 1976 phase was transferred to the UK, in 1977 there took
place Moto Grand Prix of Great Britain under the control of the
International Motorcycle Federation. In order to maintain its status
as the race Isle of Man TT have become part of the Formula 1 TT
Championship from 1977 to 1990. Since 1989, they are held under the
control of the Isle of Man Department of Tourism as a festival Isle of Man TT.

The first chance to see how the bikes and riders tackle the challenge
of the 37-mile Mountain Course. Craig Doyle, Steve Parrish, James Whitham
and Steve Plater look back at six days of practice and qualifying - an
indicator to the form of the riders going into the race next week.

The big 1000cc Superbikes get race week going at the historic
Isle of Man TT Races. John McGuinness on the Honda will start
as favourite to retain his Superbike crown. Guy Martin,
Bruce Anstey, Cameron Donald and Conor Cummins will be leading
the pack of riders looking to take his title away. Presented by
Craig Doyle. Commentary and analysis: James Whitham and Steve Plater.

Craig Doyle presents highlights of the first Sidecar Race from the
Isle of Man TT. Fourteen time winner Dave Molyneux and passenger
Patrick Farrance, will be amongst the main challengers alongside
John Holden and Andy Winkle, Tim Reeves and Dipash Chauhan, and
the Birchall brothers. Commentary and analysis: James Whitham and
Steve Plater.

This is the first race for the 600cc Supersport machines which
will be lapping the Mountain Course at average speeds of over
125mph. New Zealander Bruce Anstey was victorious in this race
last year. He will be amongst the main contenders again, alongside
Michael Dunlop, Guy Martin and John McGuinness. Presented by
Craig Doyle. Commentary and analysis: Steve Parrish, Steve Plater
and James Whitham.

Craig Doyle presents highlights of the Superstock Race, where the
1000cc production bikes will be tackling the bumps, jumps, flat
out straights, and numerous technical corners of the 37 and three
quarter mile Mountain Course at average speeds touching 130mph.
Michael Dunlop, who won this race last year will return to defend
his title. Commentary and analysis: Steve Parrish, James Whitham
and Steve Plater.

This is the second chance for the world's leading road racers
to tackle the Isle of Man TT course on their 600cc machines.
The smaller machines often provide some of the closest competition
of the TT week. Presented by Craig Doyle. Commentary and analysis:

Craig Doyle presents highlights of the second Isle of
Man TT Sidecar Race. The sight of these 600c three wheel
machines, and their two man crews speeding through the
villages and along the lanes and mountain roads that make
up the TT course is one the greatest spectacles in motor
