This felt like a classic Sunny episode. So glad to see them bringing back so many side characters this season. The scenes with Charlie's mom all had me in stitches.
Classic always sunny is back im so happy this was amazing I love this show so much
This is another one of those episodes with a great title card introduction lmao
So far this season (well i'm only on episode 2 maybe it's too early to say it) has been pretty reminiscent of earlier IASIP imo, seems like there was something positive in the 2022/2023 air. However, the previous episode was slightly better and I rated them both 9 but that was a solid 9 and this is more like a 8.5
I felt bad for Donald MacDonald of Hamburg, c'mon Mac fix those daddy issues with him instead! (it's fun to see Mac being an asshole instead of just a gay doormat like in the past seasons though lol). And I wasn't sure how I felt about Charlie having sisters but you know what? It kinda makes sense so I'll take it.
And of course they're OF whores, it runs in the family I guess
[6.6/10] Kind of a mild episode. There’s some laughs to be had from Frank acting like a literal dog and being ridiculously unsafe with his firearm. But the setup of Dennis and Dee trying to set him up to have “one last good day” before taking his gun is on the weaker side of things.
Mac and Charlie’s quest to go find their legacies is a little better, but not much. I mostly like the humor of Mac running into the father figure he always wanted but never had via his Uncle Donald, but being foolishly more interested in old letters instead. It’s a more conceptual laugh rather than a “ha ha” sort of funny, but I still dug it.
The humor with Mac and Charlie’s moms fell flat for me. (The “tearing your own teeth out” bit was just bizarre.) And the culmination with Charlie’s ASMR influencer sisters (who I had zero memory of) was weird and not particularly funny. And the payoff to the title felt like a bit of a cop-out.
Overall, this is definitely IASIP at its most odd and deranged, but it couldn't wring as many laughs from the envelope-pushing payoffs as you might hope.
Didn't like this episode anywhere near as much as the premiere. The idea that Frank shoots everyone is a great single line synopsis but the execution didn't work for me. The side story of Charlie and Mac with their inheritance was a bore. I can do without seeing either of their parents in the show moving forward.
Omg, the gang needs to stop getting plastic surgery already. Can't they see how bad it looks on their co-workers? I guess Dee, Mack and Dennis truly are vain af in real life. Keep rocking the no plastic surgery charlie! You da man!
Not as strong as the premiere. Best thing about it were the two hot chicks.
Yes these episodes feel like the og iasip! Cause last season was awful.
I didn’t get the two girlies playing charlie’s sisters… they are clearly too young, so her mom got a different baby daddy? I assume they are nepo babies and that’s why they got casted, cousins would’ve been a better role instead of sisters.
