Conscientious and hardworking Ryuichi Kanzaki teams up with maverick detective Kenji Kurogi to solve violent crimes on the streets of Ikebukuro. Ryuichi and Kenji investigate a series of violent home invasion burglaries targeting local elderly residents. One of the victims, who was knocked nearly unconscious during the robbery, tells them he overheard his assailants discussing their next crime. When the two half-brothers learn the victims were all members of the same ballroom dance club, they go undercover to try to track down the perpetrators. Meanwhile, word of their secret leaks out, threatening to put an end to their partnership!
The Ikebukuro Police Department’s violent crimes unit receives a missing person’s report about a high school girl. At first, Ryuichi and Kenji suspect that she ran away from home. But they launch an investigation upon finding out that the girl’s mother, an elite government bureaucrat, claims her daughter has been kidnapped. Not convinced by the mother’s testimony, Ryuichi goes undercover as a student at the girl’s school to try to find out the truth.
Ryuichi is in the process of trying to make peace between his older brother Kenji and their father, Kenzo, when a police academy instructor is found shot to death. The case is given top priority, but before the culprit can be identified a second shooting victim is found dead. Based on the two victims’ recent call histories, Kenzo emerges as a leading suspect, and Ryuichi is taken off the case. Get ready for some super dangerous undercover work!
