I wasn't expecting Jeff to get away with what he did in the last season's finale, which slightly disappointed me. But then, given that his decision of not disclosing the truth (not at that point, anyway) was getting him all he wanted, I was also not expecting him to come clean by the end of the same episode, which surprised me. Everything between that was oh so adorably sad, which sweetly reminded me of how adorably sad this show is. This particular episode felt like a sandwich of bitter, one week old bread with a rich, yummy, creamy filling.

Also, I absolutely adored how Jeff didn't break that delightful Mr. Pickles persona (that's genuinely part of him) during this particularly troubled situation and did his best to give his family the happiest possible time.

Jeff's path to "redemption" (it's somewhat unclear for now, but let's call it that) seems to be this season's catalyst, and what a fun one it will surely be!

He's back. At last.
I don't know how to describe what's going on in my head when I watch this show
