Just realized the sound KITT makes when driving around is the same sound my tesla makes.
Great memories of this show but, on a re-watch, I could only get to the end of the first season. I obviously couldn't see the same plot in every episode when I was a kid.
I remember my great aunt telling me her car talked I was intrigued that we were getting a car like KITT but to my dismay a 1980's some Nissan Maxima saying " Door is ajar" doesn't quite equate to having a full fledged conversation and driving on its own. This was great tv any person at this time wanted a car like KITT!

Definitely not as cool as I remember from my childhood.. And the same damsel in distress, cheap flirts, and broken hearts plot for damb near ever episode gets really old really fast.
