A special that reunites original cast members Michele Lee, Donna Mills, Joan Van Ark, William Devane, Kevin Dobson and Ted Shackelford at the infamous cul-de-sac to celebrate and reminisce about the days they spent on the long-running series.
The cast and crew of Knots Landing come together in this special one-hour show to talk about their favorite moments in the show's fourteen years of drama, laughs, and special moments.
Val and Gary learn that Clay McKinney has been found dead. Meg accidentally finds out that Greg Sumner is her father. Karen's son Michael and his fiance Lori visit to announce they are expecting their first child. Abby cattily sniggers that Karen is going to be a grandmother, but her glee is short-lived when Abby's son Brian arrives with his girlfriend Kate and announce they are also expecting a baby, which means Abby is to be a grandmother too.
The Knots Landing reunion enlisted most of the main cast of the show, who reminisced about their time working on it. It also included clips from the show, as well as outtakes and bloopers. The special was filmed on location at the famous Knots Landing cul-de-sac "Seaview Circle" (in reality Crystalaire Place in Los Angeles), with interiors filmed at a newly made studio set reconstruction of the MacKenzie house.
