The true hubris is of the justice system itself. Guy got away with a murder. He wasn't even knowledgeable on the law and just barely got by. And tampered with a juror.
This was a pretty light tampering, and yet led to a not guilty. Imagine how easier it is for criminals to tamper with the jury with threats or actual violence.
