Most of this episode outside of the first five and the last ten minutes is nearly unwatchable. Bad dialog is tolerable until the story writing ceases to flow and make sense. They were going for the "insane and creepy characters" in this episode, and that never works. Nevertheless, the last ten minutes are vitally important, and here the episode changes back to its normal tone.
