Such an epic episode, loved everything.
Easily the best episode of the series so far. Although, I don't think it was right to wait until mid season to show us how NZT would be handled from another perspective. Should've been a lot sooner to make us appreciate Brian more. Who seems like a precious teddy bear compared to those SWAT team guys. And poor Boyle, man. I don't envy his place right now. He's in the wrong and everyone knows it.
Some FBI agents decide to take NZT they got off a criminal who stole it. One of the agents is Rebecca's boyfriend Casey. Things of course don't go well.
While Brian tries to learn to respect Mike and Ike when Ike is shot by the NZT crook.

Seems a bit cruel of Casey not to tell the others about the serious side effects of the drug - if you know it's probably going to be amazing and you won't want to stop until you're dead, the only strategy is to never take it at all. Though, I wonder if, if you take NZT and then wait a few weeks or months before the next time, your body has enough time to regenerate and you never get the side effects. People have done studies on this drug, right? That seems like the most logical thing to test after you've found out that if you take the pills in rapid succession, they will kill you.
Also, again, NZT may make you smarter, but only in the limits set by your brain. Meaning, if a bunch of people take it some of them will still be smarter than others. That Casey wasn't able to see that Brian would probably outsmart him even while on NZT is pretty good proof of that.
Anyway, I hope that Ike is going to be okay.
