This list includes people who descend from Ireland and also the British Isles (AKA Channel Islands/England/Isle of Man/North Ireland/Scotland/Wales), unless stated otherwise (ex. Polish but born in Ireland). I was tempted to put "Ireland and friends" in the title but I think we all know that Ireland wouldn't want to be friends with a country with a long history of, well... yeah.
This list previously contained Germanic peoples in general but they have been separated into their own list (https://trakt.tv/lists/11659596) since a lot of white citizens of Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United States descend from this particular archipelago. Yay, colonialism?

How I Met Your Mother is about how the main character met his childrens' mother and his dating life, but series about high school life (and hormones!!!) would not be included by default. Don't expect very many Hallmark Channel-esque entries here because I've deluded myself into thinking that I don't have low standards. WIP.
