Wow. Just. Lucifer has taken a stop this season. I'm getting sick and tired of the writers teasing us with the big reveal. When are they expecting to make Color aware that he's the freaking Devil? Season 10? That said, this was a weird episode. The case was entertaining but not as engaging as others have been. The first scene was so, so weird. I think it's because of the way Lucifer flew to save Chloe. It looked soooo weird. Lucifer was really selfish throughout the whole episode but I've got to say it, that ending was sweet. However, I don't know if it was just me or what, but Lucifer and Chloe don't seem to have the chemistry they once had. The whole Linda-Amenadiel thingy is finally over. I wasn't a fan of that storyline. In fact, I kinda hated it. It was lazy writing. I love Maze, but tonight I hated her. The whole blind date thing was just awful. I enjoyed that Todd character, though. "I make my own toothpaste", lol. Amenadiel, Maze and Linda should just talk to each other and solve their goddamn problems. No drama, please. I hate relationship drama.
I love Trixie. It's a pity she can't appear in more episodes. She's just great. She's like a tiny version of Ella. Speaking of, when she said she was writing a book about a csi who can hear ghosts I just wanted to hear more. I remember in the Las Vegas episode she mentioned she heard voices, so both things should be connected, right?
And now Lucifer is going to time travel in order to prevent Cain from killing his brother. I'm guessing that by going back, Lucifer would be the one causing Cain to kill his brother.
What's up with the whole "bullying Dan" thing? At the beginning it was funny, I'll give you that, but now it is not funny anymore, as some others have commented here. I still can't believe the lines this episode has "Has all that masturbation finally caught up with your eyesight, Daniel?" Some of the lined this show has are unbelievable.
I hope this improves and we get to see more of Cain.
