Omg I kinda feel bad for that one scientist guy, I don’t think his intentions are 100% good and honest but still that’s too much physical pain.
And I’m curious about where this is going cause obviously she can’t run away from him, with the gps, the camera, the audio so what’s the plan?

Take away the "future technology" plot point, and it's starting to feel like a regular ol' boring "Husband won't let wife leave him" kind of show.
Very bland so far.

Edit: Took a bit of break, and have just now binged the rest of the show. It didn't turn out too bad. The characters got fleshed out a bit more, and the story took a bit more of a family-centered drama, but all in all it wasn't as bad as I thought it was headed, so if you've made it this far and are curious, I'd say push to the end, its decent enough.
