The 2009 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) was the eleventh of the annual music awards in Seoul, South Korea that took place on November 21, 2009 at the Seoul Sports Complex.
The 2010 Mnet Asian Music Awards was the twelfth of the annual music awards in Seoul, South Korea that took place on November 28, 2010, at The Venetian Macao in Macau, China. The ceremony was marred with criticism and was the first Mnet Asian Music Awards to occur outside of South Korea.
The 2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards took place on November 29, 2011, at Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore. The ceremony was the second Mnet Asian Music Awards to occur outside of South Korea, the first being in 2010 when the ceremony took place in Macau, China.
The 2012 Mnet Asian Music Awards took place on November 30, 2012, at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Hong Kong. The ceremony was the third consecutive Mnet Asian Music Awards to occur outside of South Korea. It was reported by international news agencies such as Agence France-Presse, ITN, and was also broadcast in 85 countries around the world.
The 2013 Mnet Asian Music Awards took place on November 22, 2013, at AsiaWorld-Arena in Hong Kong.[1] The ceremony was the fourth consecutive Mnet Asian Music Awards to occur outside of South Korea.

2018 MAMA Premiere in Korea took place in Seoul, South Korea at Dongdaemun Design Plaza and celebrated and honored new artists in both South Korea and other parts of Asia.
2018 MAMA Fans' Choice in Japan took place in Saitama, Japan at Saitama Super Arena and awarded artists in fan voted categories and also announced the first Worldwide Icon of the Year.
2018 MAMA in Hong Kong took place in Hong Kong at AsiaWorld–Expo Arena and was the main event and the show's finale. The show gave awards to the artists that made great achievements in 2018.
