This was the pilot episode, which was the first to air. Along with "The Family" regulars Vicki and Betty White, the episode introduces Aunt Fran, Vinton, Naomi, Buzz and Sonja. Vinton and his two children move back home after being evicted, disrupting the "happy" home life of Thelma and her sister, Fran (Rue McClanahan), who threatens to move out. The relationship between Vint and Naomi begins to blossom.
