I shouldn't have watched the entire season in one day but I regret nothing
Finished binge watching the series and wow, what a great series it was! Very true to the original tone of the comics with some great references to the MCU and Netflix Daredevil series. Can't wait to see more of Jess in the Defenders show and hopefully in future upcoming Marvel Netflix series!
Cant wait this show is gonna be BIG!
I enjoyed the first season and I'll definitely be back for the second. Also looking forward to seeing Cage's solo series after this. It should be noted that I am not familiar with the comics, though I will be reading them now that I've seen the series. While the show itself is decent, it did feel like Ritter is not entirely at home with the role yet. That might change as the show progresses. As it neared the end I couldn't help but feel that Tenant was the reason the story came across so well, though that's not really so surprising. The fight scenes came across a bit weak, like the actors were forcing it, or it might have been the camera work. Couldn't quite put my finger on it but they seemed to be lacking something. Other than that, I do recommend the series. Very dark. And seeing Carrie-Anne Moss was a nice surprise.
Went into it not knowing anything about it except that it said Marvel on it, and I like the main actress. Gave up halfway through episode 2. It's ok though. I didn't like the Daredevil show or the Deadpool movie either. Clearly not my genre.
