My favorite part of this show has always been the relationship between Jessica and Trish and their trust and love for each other. So I really don‘t like what the writers did to Trish these past few episodes. All this jealousness of Trish is ruining it.
Jessica's mom was right about Trish being the issue. Carl spent years caring for Jessica's mom, doing his best to prevent violence, never doing anything harmful to anyone. Then Trish shows her true colors and ruins everything for Jessica, her mom and Carl, just because she's a selfish bitch (even more so than her mom). Nevertheless, in this episode Trish is made to look like a helpless victim yet again. Jessica defends her, calls her a sister and her only family, disregards her actions having led to the suicide of Carl and to the reasonable anger of Jessica's mom as simply acting stupid. There's no way I can side with Jessica anymore or feel any sympathy for Trish. Consequences aside, it's her mom that appears to have been the most reasonable in all this.

And I think we can agree that the real evil is Trish!!
Jessica is asked by the detectives to figure out where Alisa could go after escaping prison. She knows that the only thing standing in the way now is Trish's safety. Jessica heads to the hospital to stop Alisa from killing Trish but ends up taking the life of a detective to make her escape. Trish wakes up, and she fights with Jessica defending her actions for going to the doctor. Jessica's loyalty to Trish remains strong through this troubling time. Meanwhile, Jeri tries to get even with those who wronged her while keeping her hands clean from being traced. Jessica meets with injured Alisa planning to shot and kill her mother but is unable to do so. Alisa knocks out Jessica and they drive out of the city to some unknown location.

Why did Alisa had to kill the cop ? Did she need her as a cushion for the fall ? Or is it just that she had to look evil again to distract from Trish being the source of everything ? Also it's pretty high, by the time Jessica reached the window they probably wouldn't have hit the floor yet, even less had the time to get up and disappear.
And Trish is 100% repentless. Even blaming Jessica and almost coercing her into killing her own mother ! There's not even the drug excuse there, she is way past the acceptable limit of selfishness, she is litterally evil.
Jeri's revenge is nice. Useless and too long, like her whole storyline, but nice.
