Helena visits the grave of Juan Carlos on his birthday, who sees her from afar. Months before, Helena delivers her project to Grupo Imperio, but Juan Carlos discards it without seeing it.
Helena wants to talk to Juan Carlos when she finds out that she was fired for being a single mother. Juan Carlos looks for Helena to help him but she rejects him.
Juan Carlos wants to seduce Helena to steal the project from her and for this he becomes the Argentine, Juan Perón. Helena dates him but makes her points clear when he tries to take advantage of her.
Juan Carlos convinces Helena to show him Acapulco, since he claims that he does not know it. Juan thinks that in Acapulco he will be able to seduce Helena and snatch the Mahahua Beach project from her.
Lalito is missing and the hotel fears for his life. Juan tries to keep Helena from finding out about Lalito's disappearance, but she finds out. Lalito confesses to Juan that he already knows everything about 'Operation Honeymoon'.
Helena tells Juan about her past and Lalito's father. Plutarch manages to steal the project from Helena and thus savors his triumph. With Lucia's complicity, Juan takes Helena to a theater and confesses his love for her.
Lalito gets very upset when he sees Juan kissing his mother. Silvia asks Juan not to break her daughter's heart and tells him that they mortgaged the house for the Playa Majahua project.
Eduardo enters the bathroom when Juan is bathing and almost discovers him. Lalito warns him that he must leave immediately so that his grandfather does not realize that he is in the house. So the whole family juggles to distract Eduardo.
Juan Carlos looks for a way to get out of the project without having to hurt Helena. Fernando and Santiago realize that he has fallen in love.
Plutarco gets an accomplice for his plan against Juan Carlos. Antonia starts working at Grupo Imperio and shares the office with Rebeca. Eugenia advises her son to let Helena go if she doesn't want to hurt her.
Juan Carlos asks Plutarco to consider Fernando and Santiago as part of the team if he is fired, but Plutarco does not want to listen to him. Juan Carlos confesses that he is in love with Helena and then they are caught on camera kissing.
Juan and Helena live their dream of love and so Juan asks her to marry him, but Helena's father distrusts him. Meanwhile, Plutarco launches a million-dollar fraud by traveling abroad.
There is nervousness in the company since the tourism commission has called a meeting for the Playa Majahua proposal. Juan participates in the presentation of the project.
They accuse Juan of having stolen millions of dollars from the company. Juan escapes and goes in search of Helena, he swears her innocence, but Helena does not believe him; Juan has an accident.
Juan Carlos Caballero has died. The deepest pain overwhelms each of Juan's friends. Helena mourns the love of her life. Meanwhile at the company, Adriano begins to have doubts about Juan's alleged fraud.
Juan Carlos finds out that he has been declared dead and then watches his own funeral. Helena confesses to the grave that she still loves him. Plutarco tells Helena that they were also victims of Juan Carlos's traps.
Mimí recognizes Juan Carlos but he tells her that he did nothing of what they accuse him of and she promises not to rat him out. It is Santiago's wedding day and Juan transforms into an old man to be able to go.
Because of her illness, everyone believes that Eugenia imagines her son, but she knows the truth and that comforts her. The death of Juan Carlos has delayed operations at Grupo Imperio, so Adriano forbids his staff to continue suffering for him. Despite her pain, Helena prefers not to go to the pantheon to say goodbye to Juan Carlos. Onesimus had warned Plutarco that the inhabitants of Playa Majahua would only work under the leadership of Helena and now he confirmed it. Being affected by past decisions, Plutarco decides to rehire Helena to build the Playa Majahua project. Plutarco calls a meeting with the staff and Hadrian runs Helena out of the facility. Helena needs an assistant, but they only accept women, so Juan Carlos will have to impersonate herself to be close to her.
Juan Carlos has become a woman and already wants to see Helena again. Plutarco congratulates Helena for all her work and effort. Helena and Santiago had one more disagreement, so she decided to fire him, but Adriano defended him. The litmus test for Juan Carlos is that his parents do not recognize him in the costume, so he can keep the job. Eva is now determined to take the position of Helena's assistant and she will have to give her best performance to achieve it. Eva knows all the 'company policies' and sneaks into Adriano's office to get ahead and ensure that she is hired.
Eva demands to be interviewed for the vacant position, but everyone rejects her, even Adriano wants her out of the facilities and prefers to give the position to Paola. Eva, sobbing, says that she had never been a victim of abuse. After managing to keep the position, Juan Carlos returns home tired of being a woman and realizes how much is demanded of them.
Eva and Helena's meeting is not the best, but they begin to collaborate together, Eva always cheering on her boss. Eva was thinking about other things, but she didn't realize that she was entering the men's bathroom by mistake. Doña Silvia reminds Eduardo that he is only Lalito's grandfather, not his father, and she will have to understand that sooner or later. Although she was wrong, Eva manages to make a new appointment so that Helena can get the contract she needs for her project. Plutarco sent Rebeca as company so that Helena could close the deal with Diego Fonticoda, but words were lost and Rebeca left Helena alone.
Plutarco congratulates Helena for such a good job. The director of Lalito's school calls Helena to give her the news that the child does not appear, although a teacher did receive him. Silvia is very distressed because Lalito does not appear, but Eduardo takes the opportunity to complain to him as if it were her fault. Although Helena rejects her, Eva looks for Lalito on her behalf, manages to find him, he trusts her and asks her to take him to the fair. Marcela and Fernando had already talked about Diego Fonticoda, but now Fernando finds out the truth between them, by listening to a private conversation.
Helena becomes very uncomfortable and runs to Eva to stop interfering in her private life, even though Eva only wants to help her. Upon hearing a big secret from Marcela, Fernando explodes with jealousy and questions the honesty of his wife. Juan Carlos's desperation is so great that he can only think about everything he has done to be close to Helena. Plutarco continues to get involved in Helena's private life and now talks to Eduardo to organize something without Helena finding out about her. Although Helena totally disagreed, she agrees to go to the ranch with Lalito to please the child, but she suspects that Plutarco wants her.
In Fernando's absence, Marcela presents an important project and Adriano realizes her great capabilities. On the walk to the ranch, Lalito and his mother manage to talk about important topics and finally make peace with each other. Marcela is excited about the new job opportunity she has been offered, however, Fernando does not believe she can achieve it. Helena believes the lie that the walk was organized by Antonia and Plutarco, he is already beginning to fall in love with Helena. Rebeca suspects that Plutarch is after Helena and she is not wrong. Antonia faints and is in critical condition in the hospital.
Antonia asks Eva to go look for her at her house and while she attends to another matter, Eva searches through Plutarco's things for something that will help her prove her innocence. Diego's insistence on Marcela is something that already bothers her, and he prefers to put a stop to it so as not to have problems with her family. Helena rejects all of Eva's efforts to be closer to her, so Juan decides to leave character to give Helena a message. Juan Carlos's video breaks Helena's soul, but she now confesses her love for Juan Carlos and he realizes that there is still love.
Eva is now a support for Antonia, who now believes that her husband is unfaithful to her, since they do not share time as a couple. The signing of the contract has been extended and Helena finds herself in trouble at Diego Fonticoda's house. At a celebration dinner at Helena's house, Eva begins to lose parts of her costume and gives up. Helena apologizes to Eva for having treated her badly at the beginning, they form a friendship and have dinner together to celebrate important progress in the Playa Majahua project.
In the middle of a family dinner, Fernando explodes with jealousy and Marcela decides to set a limit, for the people and for her children. Because it is Juan Carlos's birthday, Helena decides to visit his grave, however, several of her former conquests meet there and Helena ends up disappointed. Rebeca's uncontrollable jealousy manages to provoke Helena in the bathroom, where they discuss her 'tactics' to achieve her goals. Eva responds to the call of Antonia, who is sure that her husband has a lover and it is Helena Moreno herself.
Helena discovers the possibility that Juan Carlos never cheated on her when they were together. Plutarch orders that Eva be investigated to find out the real reason why she interferes so much in her affairs with Helena. 'Eva' puts her deception at risk by questioning Helena about her relationship with Plutarch. Mimí reminds 'Eva' that Juan Carlos is dead, so he shouldn't be feeling jealous of Helena.
Helena reads Juan Carlos's letter to Eugenia where he confesses the deep love he feels for her. Juan Carlos recognizes the sacrifice of a woman to dress up and wear painful heels every day. Helena confesses to 'Eva' that she has not stopped loving Juan Carlos and she asks her to tell him face to face as if she were before him. Juan Carlos wants to risk everything and get rid of the 'Eva' disguise to confess everything to Helena without caring about her consequences.
Although Juan Carlos is dying of jealousy, Mimí makes him see reason so that he understands that Helena is not his property. The only way Juan finds to get Plutarco away from Helena is to convince Antonia to return to Grupo Imperio. Rebeca's jealousy causes him to invent things about Helena to make Antonia believe that her marriage is in danger because of her. Due to the problems that Helena has had with Antonia, he prefers not to interact with Plutarco outside of work and thus avoid problems.
Eva, in search of information about her supposed lover, finds Samantha, with whom Juan once had a relationship, but she hates him and wishes him harm. Although Helena now has a home for her and Lalito, her father beats her to it and has sued her to remove guardianship of the child. Marcela is busier now and has less time to take care of her family, but Fernando blames her for everything and doesn't help her at all. Eduardo's outbursts have tired Silvia, so she decides to leave, she wants to take Lalito, and Eduardo prevents her.
Antonia discovers her husband very affectionate with Helena and he lies to her about his true interest in Helena so that his wife does not become suspicious. Marcela resigns from her position to take care of her family and realizes that her situation is extremely sexist. Helena and Antonia reconcile, Antonia is understanding towards her and now they will work together on the Playa Majahua project. In a magazine, Angélica finds out about Santiago's wedding and goes to look for him to make a scene of jealousy.
Patricia finds out Santiago's true feelings by spying on his conversation with Angélica, she finds out the hard way. The feminine power of Eva and Antonia does everything to convince Adriano to let her return to work at Grupo Imperio. Rebeca makes a scene of jealousy because of the closeness between Helena and him, but she explains that it is because of her lack of parenthood. Eduardo continues with his plan to take the child from Helena, but she has already prepared herself with lawyers to recover her son and for them to live together again.
Plutarco's interest is more than just his failed fatherhood, apparently he is falling in love with Helena and doesn't care about her marriage or his relationship outside of it. Mimí realizes that Paola is playing with Adriano, confronts her and makes her look ridiculous, although Mimí only wanted to help her. The lawyer notifies them that Helena will be able to take her son whenever she wants because the law protects her. Eduardo becomes enraged and becomes seriously ill. A small car accident causes Eva to have to settle with a man for having crashed. She defends herself but he insists on calling the police.
Rebeca advises Angélica to move her cards quickly if she wants to stay with Santiago. Angélica looks for Patricia and they discuss what they do while they are with Santiago, so they realize that each one is different in her own way. Eva realizes that Plutarco suddenly becomes very interested in Eva's life and questions him, because he wants to know everything. Eva invents that she has nowhere to stay because her house was flooded, Helena invites her to her house and now they must sleep together.
In the middle of a party, Adriano learns the true origin of his girlfriend Paola, but he is not willing to play her game. Helena gives shelter to Eva and then Juan takes the opportunity to end his character's lie and confess everything to her. Although he went to the emergency hospital, Eduardo could be taking advantage of the situation and hides being sick and serious. During the trip to Playa Majahua, Rebeca and Antonia learn a couple of things that do not agree with what Plutarco had told the two of them before.
Antonia and Rebeca confront Plutarco, because they do not believe him that he has gone to Playa Majahua twice as he says, although he presents the evidence that Onesimo gave him. Eugenia's sadness is getting bigger and bigger, so she asks her husband to take her to her son's work so she can see him again. To advance the Playa Majahua project, a large investment is needed and that compromises the financial health of Grupo Imperio. Eva's investigations finally make sense and she learns that the money she supposedly stole did not reach its intended destination.
After a small argument, Lalito tells his mother what he has seen and that he is afraid that his grandparents and his mother will continue fighting. In a meeting outside of work, Adriano asks Eva about her personal life and she begins to show him her personality. The lies that Plutarch has created have been taken too far with his wife, his lover, and his new conquest. On the trip to Acapulco, Antonia tells Eva that Plutarco stayed in the city because of the flu, but Eva realizes that he will now be with Helena.
Fernando makes a serious mistake by speaking badly about Antonia behind her back, but she listens to him and Eva puts him in his place, making him look very bad. Angélica tells Rebeca everything and she goes ahead so that he does not wait for her and thus surprises him at her house so that he is not with Helena. While Juan is thinking about how to get into the pool without being discovered, Antonia catches him without Eva's wig or clothes. After everything that Juan told Antonia, she begins to question whether Plutarch is really the cause of all of Juan's problem.
After the confrontation with Juan Carlos, Antonia decides to return to the city early and when she arrives home, she listens to everything her husband and lover say about her. After the argument, Antonia runs out and at the entrance to her house, she suffers a physical collapse and Eva sees her on the floor. Antonia's health is very delicate, however, Rebeca takes the opportunity to go to the hospital and convince Plutarco to end everything before Antonia leaves them with nothing. Plutarch is willing to do anything to become a widow and get his way to keep everything, and be seen as a victim.
Eva takes advantage of the fact that no one is around and asks Antonia for forgiveness, in addition to asking for a sign so that justice can be done. Antonia's health was severely damaged and she did not survive after her encounter with Plutarco and Rebeca in her own home. Plutarch's cynicism goes too far and he prefers to celebrate the departure of her wife instead of honoring her or mourning her. Adriano remembers what his sister told him days before she died and now he wants to start a family with Paola.
Although Lucía insists on leaving messages for her ghost lover, by chance she meets Renato while walking through Grupo Imperio. Paola doesn't want to answer Adriano's phone and her father hears a voice message where he realizes that they are having an affair. In a fit of anger, Jesús goes to Grupo Imperio, amidst screams, he humiliates his own friend out of anger, without caring that all the staff are present. In a consolation talk, Eva manages to convince Adriano to find love so that he can stop feeling alone and thus honor the memory of her sister.
Now that Adriano will notice older women, Mimí's chances of winning him over could be real, although she doesn't have much hope. Antonia's death has given Plutarch more opportunities to blackmail everyone, including Helena, even though she only sees him as a friend. A double invitation becomes triple and Adriano begins to meet women his age, as well as their habits and customs. Eva and Helena argue over a misunderstanding, where Helena becomes extremely upset and asks Eva to leave her house immediately.
Now that Kevin has a cell phone, his mother notices that he calls the same number many times, but it is not someone she knows and she worries. She has Antonia's will read and it turns out that she has left 20% of her shares to Eva, so she is now a partner in Grupo Imperio. Plutarco's fury makes him think that Eva tricked Antonia in some way so that she would leave him her shares inherited from her, but no one knows why she did it. Plutarco investigates Eva and realizes that she presented false documents to be hired at Grupo Imperio, so he unmasks her in front of Adriano.
Between Eva and Rebeca they destroy the flower that Plutarco gave to Helena, because individually they feel jealous of the relationship they have. Kevin's mystery situation has been progressing and now his father is worried because he is not interested in young women his age. While Plutarco was imagining himself with Helena, Antonia appears to him to tell him that what happened to him was her fault and he is scared. Helena has been a good friend to Plutarco, but he takes advantage of her and confesses her love for him, not caring that her wife has only recently died.
Helena tells Eva about her mother's situation because she believes that she can help her feel better and help her decide to leave her husband. Kevin's parents are desperate to know what he does in his spare time, so they decide to follow him to surprise him and they get the surprise. Helena is tired of her father mistreating her and Silvia for so many years, and when she finds out what her mother has experienced, she comes to hate him. Silvia cannot find her husband or her grandson anywhere and she realizes that Eduardo left him a letter from her explaining what he has done to her.
Eva takes Helena to keep her thinking about Juan Carlos and keep her away from Plutarco's clutches. Plutarco offers Helena the possibility of taking charge of all her son's studies. Juan Carlos feels bad about having to hide behind "Eva", so he would not be able to warn Helena about Plutarco's true intentions. Eva accepts the shares that Antonia inherited from her and uses her first act as a partner to order an audit of the company to discover Plutarco's traps.
Samantha looks for Plutarco to repay her for the favor she owes him and on the way out she meets Eva, who agrees to help her get hired. Plutarco's courage for not being Antonia's absolute heir has gone so far that his sexist attitudes will make it impossible for Eva to change things within Grupo Imperio. Although he wants to hide it, Plutarco urges him to stop seeing Antonia all over her house, he no longer wants to have memories of her anywhere. Eva finds out that Plutarco wants to finance Lalito's education and suggests that he do it with the other employees, so now Helena trusts her suitor more.
Helena and Eva are uncomfortable because Adriano chose a different assistant than the one they wanted and expected, however, he will not change his decision or his way of accommodating the employees. In search of information, Eva realizes that this Maximiliano Montes and Samantha are a couple, so she cannot speak directly to him. When Santiago and Fernando meet Renato, they are sure that he will be the new Juan Carlos, because he is the most handsome in the office, but Eva assures that he is not. Plutarch's new pretext for having Helena close is the remodeling of her house, and she continues to fall into her game for wanting to be a good friend to her.
When reviewing Grupo Imperio's financial statements, Eva realizes that Plutarco has been providing false numbers and discusses this in front of Adriano. Time does not stop and Helena is sure that she cannot live tied to a memory, so she will have to continue with her life without Juan Carlos. Between men's talks, Renato joins the conversation and Adriano asks where he came from, but he is not convinced by his appearance, even though the young man is very committed. In the middle of the women's meeting at Helena's house, talking about her motherhood, Samantha tells everyone that she had a child with Juan Carlos and never told him.
Eva looks for Samantha after the party to try to comfort her and she tells her everything that happened and why she never said anything to Juan Carlos. Eva asks Marcela to give her Eugenia's phone number so that she can communicate with her and become friends with her mother without anyone suspecting her. After the meeting between women, Marcela is very intrigued by how to have conversations that could be uncomfortable for Fernando. The relationship between Eva and Adriano starts to get a little more personal and he decides to ask her out that night.
Adriano invites Eva and her cousin to dinner with the intention of getting to know Eva better, but Mimí is the one who makes advances on him and he fails to take the hints. Among her clothes, Marcela finds something that puzzles her, because Fernando had hidden a card in her jacket and the woman thinks the worst. To everyone's surprise, Mario appears at Helena's parents' house, looking to meet the son they had years ago, but Eduardo reaches his limit. The situation between Helena and Mario turned out just as Plutarco had planned and now he is the hero of the story because he defended Lalito and Helena.
Helena calls Lucía to tell her how things are going with Mario and tells Eva all the details, although she asks her not to go, she will be there to defend Lalito if necessary. The belief that Kevin's interests are going to disappoint his father has gone too far, as he believes it is convenient to take him to a professional girl. The last thing Helena would have wanted was to be reunited with the father of her son after so many years, and now she is afraid of what she could do to them. After being left outside without keys or phone, Marcela tries to seek help from neighbors, but, instead, the patrol confuses her and takes her into custody.
Although Helena is upset with Eva for intervening in her private life, she listens to what she has to say regarding Plutarco and Marius. When Fernando was about to take out the trash, she realizes that there are things that make him think that Marcela has a lover. Eva leaves her impersonation to go look for Lalito's father in person, so the two open up about her life stories. Plutarch's desperation to remain the hero of the story has gone so far that he dares to threaten Marius to make him stick to the initial plan.
Plutarco manages to intimidate Mario into returning to the United States so that he can have free time with Helena, but Mario has already fallen in love with Lalito and wants to be the father he was not before. Eva defends herself against Plutarch's insults and mistreatment, but Helena sides with him and prefers to cut off all personal relations with Eva without knowing her full context. Eva finds Marcela crying and she tells her that her marriage to Fernando has become very complicated, even he treats her in a very bad way and she doesn't understand anything about her. After the anger that Helena went through, she feels sorry and looks for Eva at the boarding house to apologize, but Juan wears his men's clothes and does not have a wig, Helena will be able to find out everything.
Jennifer realizes that her brother is about to run away from his grandparents' house. Kevin doesn't want to give her details and just wants her to cover him, but she refuses. Plutarco and Rebeca's relationship is increasingly complicated, since he is no longer interested in having anything with her and he is determined to marry Helena. Renato is only interested in the job, but he is intrigued to know what happened to Juan Carlos, since he has heard a lot about the issue of fraud. Due to an annual event, Adriano takes the opportunity to represent his company, where Fernando, Santiago and Juan Carlos used to go.
Plutarco does not know how the disk with the hacking key came into Rebeca's hands, Félix could only trick her so that she would not suspect anything. Rebeca and Plutarco meet and he believes that she knows everything about Juan Carlos's fraud, but she can tell that he is her enemy. After all his mistreatment, Eduardo believes that Silvia will stay with him to serve him forever, but she reaches her limit and tells him everything she has kept to herself. After Eva and Eugenia have spent the afternoon together, Modesto becomes angry at what Eva does when he is not there, and although he confronts it, Juan is not satisfied with the life his mother leads.
Rebeca's courage has gone so far that she decides to look for problems for Helena regarding the Playa Majahua project. Silvia can notice that Helena smiles a lot when it comes to Plutarco, so she asks him if she has feelings for him, after so much attention and coexistence. After so much preparation for the wedding, Patricia confesses to Santiago that it was all for revenge, that they will not get married and that she no longer loves him. When they believed that Adriano was interested in Mimí, it turns out that he was actually falling in love with Eva, so he invites her to dinner and explains her intentions.
After the failed wedding, Santiago goes to look for Angélica and proposes that they go on a trip together to forget the bad times. When Adriano confesses his love for Eva and Mimí knows everything, Juan Carlos wants to give up and no longer be Eva, but the reality is that he cannot leave his character yet. Now that Silvia is starting a new life, she is looking for a job, but her age and lack of experience make the situation more complicated. Rebeca's plan has worked and now Helena has problems with the councilor of Playa Majahua, so she could ruin everything at Grupo Imperio.
The incident with the people of Playa Majahua has caused them to believe Helena is incompetent for the entire project, so Plutarco suggests that she needs help from a man. After the excesses between Angélica and Santiago, when they wake up, she tells him that she is now Escudero's wife and he realizes that they are husband and wife. Marcela and Fernando find a letter that Kevin wrote for his crush and believe that she is a girl her age, but they don't expect who she is really in love with. Helena and Plutarco spend the whole day together and he takes advantage of her to talk to her about her feelings towards her.
For distracted driving, Plutarco almost hits Rebeca in the parking lot and she gets angry telling him that he won't be able to get rid of her. Eva wants to convince Eugenia to go to the doctor, but she doesn't see the point, she would only do it if her son Juan asked her to, so Eva has an idea. Mimí helps Juan plan a surprise for Eugenia, so that she feels better and agrees to go to the doctor, with the hope of performing again. In the morning rush to go out, Marcela collides with Jennifer and her things fall, her mother helps her but she finds a condom among her things.
Adriano sends Eva flowers hoping to win her over, but she refuses to play along and asks him to stop showing affection. Rebeca makes Angélica feel bad about her wedding and she decides to go to Grupo Imperio so everyone can find out the news, however, Santiago is not very happy. Although he knows that he can no longer hold on to her memory and move on with her life, Helena is having a hard time processing Juan's death. Mimí insists on making Adriano fall in love with her, but he can only think that, above all things, he is going to conquer Eva.
Although Plutarco is a great man, Helena cannot forget Juan and everything he meant in her life, so she does not feel safe giving love another chance. Adriano admits that he doesn't fully trust Helena's abilities for the Mahajua Beach project just because she is a woman. Renato's true personality and intentions are coming to light and among those attitudes, he tells Lucía that he is not interested in having anything with her. Eva has become Eugenia's best friend, but accidentally, the lady enters Eva's room and discovers the whole truth about her identity.
Santiago is sad that his acquaintances see him with Angélica as husband and wife, so he hides her from his circles and she gets upset. Silvia was sure that Eduardo could live without her, although the reality is very different, he prefers to stay with her, proud of her and blame her for everything. When Eugenia discovers the truth about Eva, she prefers that Modesto pick her up and becomes very upset with Eva because of her lies. Eva manages to find more information about Modesto's other family and learns that not only does she have a half-sister, but there is a half-brother as well.
Plutarco looks for someone to pretend to be an investigator and show false documents to Helena so that she believes that Juan Carlos is guilty of the fraud that he was accused of. After learning about the evidence and so on, Helena still does not believe that Juan Carlos was capable of something like that and Plutarco is furious for not being able to convince her of it.
Plutarco does not understand the radical change of Don Adriano, who reveals to him that he has finally found love in a beautiful woman, for whom he is willing to be a different person. Eva is worried because Lalito lied about her father at school and that caused problems with her classmates.
Plutarco wants to conquer Helena's heart, but she still has not overcome the great love she had for the late Juan Carlos. Don Adriano arrives at Playa Majahua ready to steal Eva's heart with an unforgettable evening and asks Helena for help to surprise her.
After being rejected by Eva, Don Adriano decides to go on a trip around the world to forget about her and gives his shares to Plutarco. Helena wants to get over Juan's death and is thinking about giving Plutarco a chance, but memories of her great love invade her in Playa Majahua.
Renato thanks Lucía for the friendship she has given him now that he is worried about changes at work. Plutarco has been a chivalrous, romantic man with Helena and she decides to give him a chance because she apparently wants to leave Juan behind.
Rebeca no longer wants to continue being Plutarco's lover and demands that he fall in with her without knowing that he and Helena began their courtship in Playa Majahua. Juan Carlos does not want Plutarco to remain as head of Grupo Imperio and sacrifices himself by agreeing to have an affair with Don Adriano.
Eva arrives at Helena's house by surprise and finds Plutarco living with the whole family, she immediately suspects that they could be dating. Rebeca is furious because she was not invited to be part of the project presentation in Playa Majahua and she is not happy with the success of her partner.
Plutarco confesses to Hadrian that he started a formal relationship with Helena, but Rebeca begins to suspect that he is cheating on her. Juan Carlos has a plan to make Don Adriano fall for Mimí's charms and thus be able to keep him away from 'Eva'.
Helena's son loved Juan Carlos very much and after his supposed death he was left longing for the family that the three of them were going to form. Plutarco is sincere with Rebeca and confesses that he is in love with Helena, she cannot resist her betrayal and is willing to charge him for her humiliation.
Don Adriano resists Mimí's charms and Juan Carlos no longer knows what to do so that Eva does not have intimacy with him. Rebeca is going to ruin the romantic evening between Plutarco and Helena with a dose of poison in her drinks.
Adriano insists that Eva give him a kiss as proof of her love. While Eva avoids any approach with Hadrian, Helena drinks the drink that Rebeca altered for the dinner that Plutarch prepared. In the middle of a romantic dinner, Plutarco discovers that Helena has Juan Carlos's things and she assures that she cannot forget him.
Helena arrives at the hospital and they can control the poisoning she suffered, but there is another health problem that keeps her in bed. Juan Carlos looks for a way to be close to Helena, but Plutarco's presence could end all of his plans.
Helena wakes up after the operation and discovers Juan Carlos in her room, but she believes it is all a dream. Helena talks to Silvia and confesses that Juan Carlos went to visit her at the hospital because he is alive.
Adriano gives in and gives Eva the documents that implicate Juan Carlos in the company's fraud. Eva analyzes the documents of the money transfers that he supposedly made. Helena confirms to Plutarco that he is her present, but they are surprised by Eva in the middle of the kiss.
Plutarco and Helena tell Eva about their relationship and ask her to be discreet. Rebeca takes advantage of Eva's distraction to steal the file on Juan Carlos's alleged fraud. Silvia tells Eva that Helena still loves Juan Carlos despite dating Plutarco. Rebeca begins to spin the information that she now has and discovers that Plutarco is involved in the misfortunes of Grupo Imperio.
Eva returns to Adriano the report she lent him about Juan Carlos's fraud and tells him that two pages are missing, Adriano becomes alarmed. Rebeca visits Eugenia in the hospital and pretends to be a reporter, but she is surprised when she finds out that Juan Carlos is still alive. Eva complains to Helena for having hidden her relationship with Plutarco, but everything changes when it is revealed that Eva and Hadrian are dating.
Eva seems insistent with Helena about her relationship with Plutarco and begins to doubt this. Rebeca arrives at Grupo Imperio and begins to observe Eva, trying to find Juan Carlos under that costume and she wants to see how she reacts to asking her to model in front of everyone.
Juan Carlos talks to Eugenia, asks her for forgiveness and also to keep the secret about Eva. Rebeca arrives at Mimí's boarding house to confront Eva and reveal that she is actually Juan Carlos, but Adriano's presence takes everyone by surprise. Adriano confirms to Rebeca that he has a relationship with Eva. Rebeca will do everything so that Eva and Adriano have a moment together, but Juan Carlos will do everything to prevent it.
